A convoy of vehicles carrying Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Tejashwi Yadav was involved in a collision with a truck in Vaishali, Bihar. The accident took place near Goraul on the Patna-Muzaffarpur highway. Yadav, en route back to Patna after a political event, had stopped for a brief break when the truck hit two vehicles in his convoy. While Yadav was unharmed, three of his security officials were injured and received immediate medical attention. The truck driver was apprehended by the local police. The cause of the accident is currently under investigation, with initial reports suggesting speeding or driver fatigue as potential factors. The incident has renewed discussions regarding the safety of VIP travel on Bihar’s roads, especially during nighttime hours.
