Simultaneous raids are underway at seven locations linked to Susil Kumar Panda, Assistant Executive Engineer of Ganjam block, Ganjam district, Odisha. The searches, which began on Saturday, are in response to accusations of accumulating assets beyond his known sources of income. The operation is supervised by six DSPs, seven Inspectors, and support staff, acting on warrants from the Special Judge, Vigilance, Berhampur. The locations being searched include residential properties in Berhampur and Puri, his ancestral home, his in-laws’ residence, and his office. The investigation is ongoing, with additional information expected to be released.
