Young Girls Thwart Kidnapping Attempt at Bihar Fair

A harrowing incident of attempted abduction was thwarted in the West Champaran district of Bihar. A man tried to kidnap several young girls who were at a fair in Bahuarwa Khurd village, near Narkatiaganj. The perpetrator, identified as Hasumuddin Miyan, offered the girls money and attempted to take them to a secluded spot. The girls fought back, biting the attacker and creating a commotion, which allowed them to escape and alert their families.
