A brutal assault in Kapasan, Rajasthan, has led to the filing of a police case against BJP MLA Arjun Lal Jingar and several unknown individuals. The victim, Suraj Mali, was targeted after posting videos and content on social media criticizing the MLA’s failure to deliver on a promise to bring water to the Raj Rajeshwar pond. The attackers, who arrived in a Scorpio, ambushed Mali, breaking both of his legs and causing other injuries. The incident has sparked political outrage, with protests and demonstrations in Kapasan and Chittorgarh. The Congress party, along with the Mali community, has demanded strict action against the perpetrators. The MLA has not issued a statement, while his supporters have called for justice on social media.
