Amid escalating border security debates, BJP parliamentarian Yogendra Chandoliya has launched a fierce critique against West Bengal’s Mamata government, alleging it harbors Rohingya and Bangladeshi infiltrators via its leaky 600-km boundary. This oversight, he cautioned, imperils India’s sovereignty and population equilibrium.
National borders are largely locked down, Chandoliya observed, except in West Bengal where movement persists unabated. ‘Mamata Banerjee’s policies are the culprit,’ he stated firmly, urging swift expulsion of all illegal entrants to restore balance.
The discourse expanded to Rahul Gandhi’s recent controversy: his solo refusal to wear Assam’s gamucha at the President’s At-Home, seen by BJP as a Northeast slight and constitutional disrespect. ‘No one disrespects the President or regional traditions lightly; this will cost him politically,’ Chandoliya predicted.
Turning to economics, the MP lauded the previous budget’s middle-class tax exemption to Rs 12 lakh and expressed faith in the upcoming one. ‘Expectations are sky-high for a budget that drives progress and uplifts lives,’ he said, encapsulating public sentiment for inclusive growth.
