Chandigarh-based Haryana minister Gaurav Gautam issued a stark warning to West Bengal’s ruling TMC: the BJP’s victory is inevitable, and Mamata Banerjee’s political swan song is underway.
In candid remarks to IANS, Gautam depicted a desperate Banerjee, haunted by electoral prospects. ‘She’s gone berserk seeing power escape her clutches,’ he said, condemning her violent governance style. ‘Bengal deserves better than thuggery. The masses will empower PM Modi’s BJP decisively.’
Optimism brimmed as Gautam discussed Haryana’s impending budget. Echoing the Union Budget’s glory—marked by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman’s presentation and a 33% sports funding leap—he spotlighted gains in startups, AI, and MSMEs.
‘Haryana’s budget on March 2 will prioritize youth and athletics extraordinarily. Stadium upgrades, punctual awards, and athlete supplies are non-negotiable,’ he vowed.
Opposition ranks drew sharp criticism: ‘They manufacture drama for headlines, sidelining Haryana’s welfare. Ruckus is their only playbook.’
On Mohan Bhagwat’s family size recommendation, Gautam was unequivocal: ‘Fully supportive—it’s a sound proposition.’
Gautam’s pronouncements amplify BJP’s Bengal offensive, intertwining fiscal prudence and anti-violence rhetoric. As budgets underscore investment in futures, the clash between stability and strife defines the political discourse.
