Praising swift accountability measures, Delhi BJP head Virendra Sachdeva endorsed Water Minister Parvesh Sahib Singh’s suspension orders against three delinquent Delhi Jal Board regional revenue officers absent during duty hours.
Public outcry over unresponsive billing staff led to the minister’s impromptu inspection, revealing the officers’ truancy. His immediate suspension push aims to eradicate such complacency from public service.
“Our government prioritizes citizen welfare and rights with unwavering sensitivity,” Sachdeva stated, framing the action as a bureaucratic wake-up call.
He rebuked AAP convenor Saurabh Bharadwaj’s protests, reminding that current protocols mirror those under Kejriwal. Sachdeva alleged AAP’s thirst for direct control was meant to terrorize officers and conceal graft by party ministers.
Conversely, BJP ensures procedural integrity by routing recommendations properly, guaranteeing justice for duty-shirkers and corrupt elements. With AAP figures wallowing in their own scandals, expecting anti-corruption drive from them is futile—they target only compliant resisters, he claimed.
This development spotlights BJP’s service-oriented ethos amid Delhi’s urban challenges. It promises a cleaner administration, boosting confidence in leadership that acts decisively for the people.
