From the spiritual heart of Ayodhya, BSP leader Vishwanath Pal dropped a political bombshell: his party will shun all alliances and charge into the 2027 UP assembly battle independently. He lambasted the NDA and INDIA alliances as crutches for the feeble-hearted.
Chatting with IANS, Pal was unapologetic: ‘The frail seek supports; BSP is robust and ready for a standalone fight.’ Rallying against coalition crutches, he taunted, ‘Self-styled giants, why huddle? Solo runs will reveal your grassroots grip—or lack thereof.’
SP’s cheeky pivot to mark Kanshi Ram Jayanti as PDA Day drew Pal’s ire as Yadav’s pantomime. ‘Had Akhilesh truly revered him, no gimmicks today. He killed the holiday as CM and vandalized legacies like Kasganj district and sundry schemes.’
‘BSP built an empire of tributes—institutions, districts, programs—all torched by SP’s vindictive governance,’ he asserted, painting a picture of ideological vandalism.
Weighing in on Swami Avimukteshwaranand, Pal called for political purity. ‘Religion is no poll plank. Ambedkar’s charter equalizes all castes and faiths. No room for insulting gurus, acharyas, or any group—government, act now,’ he urged.
As 2027 looms, BSP’s isolationist gamble could ignite a Dalit resurgence, fragmenting opposition votes and injecting fresh drama into UP’s cutthroat politics.
