The eagerly awaited Mumbai-Ahmedabad bullet train project is on track to begin operations in 2027. Spanning 508 kilometers, the route will connect major cities with 12 strategically placed stations. The journey time is estimated to be 2 hours and 7 minutes, with trains traveling at a speed of 320 kilometers per hour. The railway infrastructure incorporates 25 bridges, most of which are situated in Gujarat. The stations are planned to be architecturally innovative, drawing inspiration from the local cultural context. Meanwhile, in Rajasthan, the job market reflects a contrasting scenario. Nearly 2.5 million individuals have applied for peon positions, a testament to the tough competition and the significant number of overqualified candidates. A staggering 75% of the applicants possess higher educational qualifications. The examination is scheduled to be conducted across multiple centers, accommodating a large number of candidates in each session.
