CBI Investigates Homebuyer Fraud: Raids in Mumbai, Kolkata, and Bengaluru

The CBI is investigating a case of fraud where thousands of homebuyers were allegedly cheated by large builders in collusion with banks. Raids are underway in Mumbai, Kolkata, and Bengaluru. The investigation aims to examine the alleged collusion between builders and officials of financial institutions (banks). Six cases have been registered and raids were conducted at 12 locations. Important documents and electronic evidence have been seized during the raids.
