Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai commemorated Teacher’s Day by launching Mission Antariksh and Project Jai Vigyan, aiming to promote space science education among students in Chhattisgarh. The initiatives were launched from his official residence. The launch saw the signing of agreements between the Raipur district administration, the Igniting Dreams of Young Minds Foundation, and Vigyan Bharati, to facilitate space-related educational programs. CM Sai congratulated Group Captain Shubhashnu Shukla on his space mission, also honoring teachers. He stated that science promotes critical thinking and problem-solving abilities. Project Jai Vigyan is set to organize workshops, exhibitions, and contests. He underscored the importance of children contributing to new discoveries for a self-reliant and scientifically advanced India, urging children to emulate Shubhashnu Shukla’s achievements. Group Captain Shukla expressed appreciation for the Chief Minister’s support and the positive impact of prioritizing science in education. The event was attended by Education Minister Gajendra Yadav, Raipur Collector Gaurav Kumar Singh, school students, and educators.
