In Durg, Chhattisgarh, law enforcement authorities made a significant discovery during a routine vehicle inspection. A joint operation by the police and ACCU near the Kumhari Toll Plaza led to the seizure of ₹66 million in cash from two Scorpio vehicles. Four individuals have been taken into custody following the recovery. Preliminary investigations suggest the cash was intended for hawala transactions, and was being moved from Raipur to Surat. The Income Tax Department has been notified about the ongoing investigation.
