In a major development, 20 Naxalites have surrendered in the Sukma district of Chhattisgarh. Among those who surrendered were individuals carrying a total reward of 33 lakh. The surrendering group consists of 9 female and 11 male Naxalites, who were implicated in various significant offenses. The surrender was facilitated by the combined efforts of the DRG District Force, the 111th, 217th, 218th, 226th, and 203rd battalions of the CRPF and CoBRA. The Naxalites surrendered before Sukma SP Kiran Chavan, CRPF Second-in-Command Officer Suresh Singh, ASP Abhishek Verma, SDOP Parameshwar Tilakwar, and DSP Manish Ratre.
