According to Tehsildar Jayendra Singh, the name of the deceased is Manish Chakradhari (age 20 years) who is originally a resident of Rewa in Madhya Pradesh, this morning he had gone to his garden on the river bank for some work. As soon as he started drowning, he called for help, during this time a young man present nearby tried to save him, but due to his hand slipping, Manish drowned in deep water.

Let us tell you that despite searching the whole day today, the young man could not be found. Gram Panchayat’s Sarpanch Govardhan told that the NDRF team did not bring a camera to search in the water. Now tomorrow morning the search for the young man will be done again in the river. Manish Chakradhari’s family has been living in Gudiya, Raipur for the last several years and they have a garden on the river bank on Bartanara Murra Road, where this incident happened. The death of the young son has caused an uproar in the family.
