Raipur. Chhattisgarh’s Raipur Collector Gaurav Singh has announced strict action against gas companies for violating the rules. On the instructions of Collector Gaurav Singh, Additional District Magistrate Kirtiman Rathore held a meeting with the officials of Bharat Petroleum, Indian Oil, Bharat Petroleum Company and the owners of 42 gas agencies and private gas agencies of the district in the beginning of July. During this meeting, all commercial gas consumers were instructed to have storage and explosive licenses if they store more than 100 kg of gas at a time and industrial institutions were instructed to have storage and explosive licenses if they store more than 300 kg of liquefied gas. Now the improvements made in the last one month will be reviewed.

Additional District Magistrate Kirtiman Rathore has directed all gas companies and agencies to provide SV vouchers and gas cards to those using commercial gas, besides following the rules made for making entries on delivery. Along with this, instructions were also given to keep weighing machines and explosion proof devices for the convenience of consumers in vehicles transporting domestic gas. The district administration will hold a meeting of gas companies and dealers again in the first week of August. In which the improvements made in a month will be reviewed. Strict action will be taken against those who act against the rules.
