Dr. Tulsidas Markam, the SDM of Manpur in Chhattisgarh, has been attached to the district headquarters following allegations of his presence at an inappropriate dance event in Rumal village. The event, advertised as entertainment, sparked a controversy when videos emerged showing officials showering money on dancers performing to suggestive music. Collector Bhagwan Singh Uike emphasized that such behavior is unacceptable, especially in a region of cultural importance. While the SDM faces an inquiry, three police officers have already been line-attached as part of the disciplinary measures taken by the SP.
