Eligibility criteria for AIBE 20 require either a 3- or 5-year LLB degree or being in the final year of the LLB program, with no backlogs. Registration is done via the official portal. The official website clarifies that those from unapproved universities are ineligible: “Any candidate, whether currently a student or a graduate, studying or passed out from a university or college which is not recognized/approved by the Bar Council of India, shall not be eligible for AIBE. It is the responsibility of the candidates to ensure that their educational institution is duly recognized by the BCI.” The application fee is Rs 3,560 for general and OBC candidates, and Rs 2,560 for SC and ST candidates.
