Raipur, November 21, 2025/ The decision of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai’s government to set the support price of paddy at Rs 3,100 per quintal and purchase 21 quintals of paddy per acre has come as a big relief for the farmers. Its positive impact is clearly visible on the faces of farmers across the district.
Shri Dhanesh Ram, a farmer from village Kalsaka in Ambagaḍh Chauki development block, had reached the Kaudikasa procurement center today to sell 52 quintals of paddy. Expressing his happiness, he said that this year he obtained the paddy sale token himself through a mobile app, making the process easy and convenient.
This digital innovation, implemented under the direction of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai, has significantly reduced the traditional complexities of paddy sale for farmers. Now farmers can cut tokens for paddy sale in minutes on their mobile phones and sell their paddy without any hindrance by reaching the procurement center at the scheduled time.
Farmer Shri Dhanesh Ram said that the behavior of the staff at the procurement center was cooperative, the weighing scales were correct, sufficient gunny bags were available, and the cleanliness arrangements were better. Because of this, farmers are able to sell their produce with peace of mind. He said that the yield of his crop was also good this year, which has led to a significant increase in family income. He expressed heartfelt gratitude to Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai for providing a fair price for paddy.
