Central Home Minister Amit Shah will be visiting Chhattisgarh in the last week of June. The purpose of the trip is to meet and commend the security personnel who participated in the recent anti-Naxal operations. This visit comes after the security forces achieved significant success in their fight against Naxal insurgents. Earlier, the Home Minister acknowledged the efforts of officials in Delhi and now intends to personally acknowledge the security forces in Chhattisgarh.
