A new Atal Parisar has been inaugurated in Tilda Nevra, Ward No. 22, honoring the late former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee. The event saw the presence of prominent figures including Raipur MP Brijmohan Agarwal and Minister Tank Ram Verma, alongside Municipal President Chandrakala Khuman Verma. The complex, built with 28.16 lakh rupees from the infrastructure fund, features a striking statue of Vajpayee, complemented by elegant granite work and modern electrical installations. Brijmohan Agarwal celebrated the inauguration, emphasizing the respect Vajpayee commanded across the political spectrum, his initiatives in rural progress, and his contributions to supporting farmers. Revenue Minister Tank Ram Verma remembered Vajpayee as a distinguished leader and a visionary who advanced India’s capabilities, while Municipal President Chandrakala Khuman Verma acknowledged the state government’s support and the former Prime Minister’s crucial role in establishing Chhattisgarh. The event was well-attended by political figures, municipal staff, and the general public.
