Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai has lauded the approval for a 4-lane bypass in Keshkal, Chhattisgarh, announced by Union Minister Nitin Gadkari. The project, estimated at Rs 307.96 crore, aims to improve connectivity in the Bastar region, particularly addressing traffic challenges in the Keshkal Ghat section. The bypass, featuring paved shoulders, will span 11.380 kilometers on NH-43 (NH-30) in Kondagaon district. CM Sai acknowledged the collaborative efforts of the central and state governments in driving development in the tribal-dominated Bastar region, highlighting the project as a significant step towards integrating the area with the mainstream. The bypass will serve as an alternative route, promising faster and smoother travel for commuters while alleviating traffic pressure in urban areas, thereby reducing pollution levels and supporting environmental sustainability. The CM thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Nitin Gadkari for their forward-thinking approach.
