Bilaspur. The Municipal Corporation has taken a big action against Aasman Builder and Colonizer who did not carry out the colony development work and has cancelled the colony development permission of the colonizer’s project located in Sakri. After cancellation, the Municipal Corporation has sent a letter to the Sub Registrar Registration Office to ban the registration of approximately 16.44 acres of land of different Khasra numbers, in which it is written that the land of 59 different Khasra numbers should not be registered.
On behalf of Asim Jafri, Director of Aasman Builders and Colonizer Limited, land Khasra No. of Sakri P.H.No. 45, Tehsil Takhatpur. 178/2.128/1,172/7,182/1,183/2,172/9,172/10, 183/4, 168, 88/2, 90, 91, 92, 93, 95, 97, 98, 99/1, 102, 105/2, 130, 172/1, 174, 177, 179/1, 179/2, 180/3, 183/5, 105/1, 172/2C (173), 172/3, 172/6, 176, 181/3, 96/2, 109/3, 103, 175, 131/1, 127/2. 129/1, 109/1, 89/1, 89/2, 180/4, 125/3, 125/2, 80/2, 172/2/9501, 128/2, 126/1. 126/2, 101/3, 101/2, 88/4, 88/5, 94/2, 108/3 total area 16.442 acres of land was given by the office of Joint Director, Town and Country Planning Bilaspur letter No. / 10049 / Pra.C.213 / N.G.N. / 2019 on March 13, 2020 for development permit and colony development permission for a time period of three years as per the conditions of Town and Country Planning.
Despite the time period passing, the colonizer did not complete the development work nor was any application given to extend the time period. In this regard, a letter was issued by the corporation to the colonizer on 8 August 2024, but the colonizer did not respond to the letter. After this, the colony development permission of the total area of 16.444 acres of land of the said Khasra number of Aasman Builders and Colonizer Private Limited was automatically cancelled. After this, a letter has been written to the registration office informing not to register the land of the said Khasra number.
There were constant complaints
There were constant complaints from the citizens about the lack of basic facilities and other development works in the colony built by Asma Builders and the colonizer. Electricity, parks, incomplete roads and other works are still incomplete, and no concrete initiative was being taken by the colonizer to complete them. After receiving continuous complaints, the corporation has taken strict action.
A letter was also written to RERA
After the cancellation of colony development permission, the Municipal Corporation has also written a letter to RERA and Town and Country Planning Office and informed them about it so that in future no permission is given for any work related to the colony on the said land.
