Bilaspur. In an accident in Ratanpur of Nyaydhani, an uncontrolled truck collided with an electric transformer, after which it also hit a woman waiting for a bus nearby. In this accident the woman died on the spot. After receiving information about the incident, the police reached the spot, sent the body for post-mortem and are taking action by seizing the truck. The incident took place in Ratanpur police station area.
According to the information, Pankaj Kumar Binjhwar, resident of village Sildaha of Ratanpur area, is an electrician. He works in Gujarat. On Sunday, he left home with his mother Amarbai to go to Gujarat and after returning from the village, both of them were waiting for the bus near Khandoba temple. Meanwhile, the truck coming from Ratanpur lost control and first hit the electric transformer on the roadside and then hit Amarbai who was waiting for the bus. Amarbai died on the spot in the accident.
After the accident, the driver of the truck left the vehicle and ran away from there. The deceased’s son Pankaj informed the family and the police about the accident. Police have seized the accident truck and are searching for the driver of the trailer based on the registration number.
