Today, hundreds of BJP workers of Abdul Kalam Ward, under the leadership of Panchram Singh, joined the Congress under the leadership of Panchram Singh in front of Bastar District Congress Committee City President Sushil Maurya at Rajiv Bhawan, the divisional headquarters. City District President Shri Maurya joined the Congress after being impressed by the policies of the Congress Party. All the BJP workers were formally made to enter Congress by dressing them in Congress gamchha.
Congress entrants include Rajni Jain, Pooja Siddhar, Geeta Kashyap, Mannu Netam, Rupshila Nath, Rashmi Nag, Lakshmi Nag, Kamlochan Kashyap, Kamala Kashyap, Seema Paul, Isha Thakur, Surendra Rally, Rajend Dayal, Roshan Soni, Aarti Sonar, Aarabati, Meena Kashyap, Naresh Dhruv Hemlata Yadav, Shabnam Begum Radhamani, Gomti Manikpuri, Sukhdai Besra, Shanti Kavre Wudan Kashyap, Pavli Dayal, Gothi Kashyap, Sunita Kashyap, Lilapadi, Subhadra, Shashit Nag, Daymati Kashyap, Rahul Kashyap, Rajesh Nag, Ramdas, Shivshankar Netam and others entered Congress.
