It is cloudy in some parts of the state and it has rained in some places, due to which the chill has increased further. Whereas Jashpur district has come to a standstill due to rain, fog and cold. It has been raining in many areas including the district headquarters since last night. Due to unseasonal rains, people are hiding in their homes, the roads are deserted.

After talking to people, information is being received that visibility has reached 10 meters in dense fog in Sanna and Pandarapath. The temperature is 12 degrees. Below in Bagicha, Jashpur too, fog has covered both the sky and the ground. It is raining heavily intermittently since 1.30 in the night in Kunkuri city. Due to which the electricity system has also broken down, power cuts are happening again and again.

If we talk about farmers, the paddy of many farmers has become drenched due to sudden rain. There are reports of loss in paddy markets also. Due to the paddy being kept in the open, it was not covered with tarpaulin in many markets and due to rain late in the night, the market employees delayed in putting up the tarpaulin. Talking about crops, among pulses, pigeon pea and pea crops may get damaged. There will be huge loss to the tomato crop. Due to rain since morning and bitter cold, people have decided not to send their children to school. However, regarding the weather today, the sky is expected to be densely cloudy and there will be rain throughout the day.
