Raigarh. On the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi, the 39th Chakradhar Samaroh was inaugurated in a grand manner at Ramlila Maidan in Raigarh district of Chhattisgarh. The ceremony was inaugurated by Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai. Famous actress and MP Hema Malini and her team gave a wonderful presentation of the dance drama Rasbihari on Bharatnatyam. The captivating presentation of the dance drama Rasbihari mesmerized the art lovers and the audience. Seeing the Karma dancers of his native village Bagia performing the Karma dance to the beats of the Mandar, Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai could not stop himself and danced vigorously on the main stage holding the Mandar in his hand. During this, Cabinet Minister Ramvichar Netam and OP Choudhary also performed the Karma dance with him.
Let us tell you that various cultural programs are being organized to make this year’s celebration even more special. On the first day, Padma Shri Hema Malini presented the dance drama ‘Radha Raas Bihari’. For the next 10 days, Raigarh will be full of art and culture, in which there will be a total of 62 events. In this event, along with the famous artists of the country, national and international level artists will also give their performances. Artists honored with Padma Shri will also be a part of this ceremony. Every year, large scale preparations are made in Raigarh for this event, during which artists from all over the country come here to exhibit their art.
