A newlywed bride in Balrampur, Chhattisgarh, has been arrested for the murder of her husband, Budhnath. The couple married on May 11th, and within a month, the wife, Sunita, had attempted to kill her husband on three separate occasions. Her final, successful attempt involved poisoning his meal. According to reports, Sunita disliked her husband’s appearance and had initially opposed the marriage. After the wedding, she tried to avoid living with him. Despite being compelled to return to her marital home, Sunita was determined to end the relationship. She purchased poison and added it to the chicken curry served to her husband, leading to his death. Police investigation followed a complaint from the deceased’s mother, and Sunita confessed to the crime.
