A major announcement benefiting Chhattisgarh’s state employees was made by Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai, who declared a 3% hike in Dearness Allowance (DA), bringing the total to 58% – equivalent to the Central Government’s rate. This decision is a direct response to the persistent demands of employee unions for pay parity. Speaking at the eighth state convention of the State Employees Union, CM Sai highlighted the government’s dedication to employee welfare. He emphasized that the decision to align DA with central rates was made after understanding the employees’ sentiments. The Chief Minister assured that the government is serious about addressing concerns and will establish a committee to discuss and resolve other pending demands in a practical manner.
