At the closing ceremony of the WAKO India National Kickboxing Championship 2025 in Raipur, Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai emphasized the significance of sports in developing essential qualities in young people. He welcomed participants from across India to Chhattisgarh, describing the state’s unique features and its progress in combating Naxalism. Sai underscored the importance of the Khelo India program and the state government’s commitment to promoting sports at all levels. He praised the Chhattisgarh Sports Promotion Scheme, aimed at improving sports infrastructure and providing financial aid to sports clubs. The Chief Minister also noted the achievements of the top-performing teams and Chhattisgarh’s impressive performance in the competition, along with the Assam Rifles’ recognition. MP Brijmohan Agrawal and Mayor Meenal Choubey also addressed the gathering, stressing the importance of sports for overall well-being.
