The ongoing torrential rains in Chhattisgarh have led to significant disruption, with many areas experiencing flooding and waterlogging. Recognizing the challenging circumstances, local authorities have decided to close schools and Anganwadi centers in several districts to ensure the safety of residents. Dhamtari district has mandated the closure of all government-run Anganwadi centers and schools for a day, as per the orders issued by Collector Avinash Mishra. Furthermore, the Mohla-Manpur-Ambagarh Chowki district, facing a more critical situation due to the downpour, has announced a two-day holiday for all government and private schools, as well as Anganwadi centers, on July 9th and 10th.
