Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai chaired a cabinet meeting where several crucial decisions were made to enhance public welfare and governance in Chhattisgarh. The meeting resulted in amendments to the Chhattisgarh District Mineral Foundation Trust Rules, 2015, following the guidelines of the Ministry of Mines and the PMKKKY-2024. The primary focus will be on allocating a minimum of 70% of the funds to essential sectors including drinking water, environmental protection, healthcare, education, and agriculture. Furthermore, the cabinet decided to establish an advanced archery training center in Jashpur to boost sports in the region. In a bid to streamline sand mining and transportation, new regulations were approved to replace the existing rules, thereby ensuring transparency and preventing illegal activities. The cabinet also approved changes to the valuation of agricultural land and sanctioned the allocation of land for a cricket academy in Nava Raipur. These initiatives aim to foster sports talent and provide international-standard facilities to players.
