In a significant initiative, the Chhattisgarh government, under the leadership of Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai, awarded ₹2 lakh each to 31 outstanding students from worker families under the Noni Babu Medhavi Shiksha Sahayata Yojana. The event, held in Raipur, showcased the government’s commitment to providing better education and a brighter future for the children of laborers. CM Sai also announced various schemes benefiting over 38,200 construction workers, with over ₹19.71 crore distributed directly into their bank accounts. He highlighted the provision of financial aid up to ₹50 lakh for worker’s children seeking to study abroad. The government is also focused on generating employment opportunities, having received investment proposals exceeding ₹5 lakh crore due to the attractive industrial policies. Moreover, the CM emphasized the importance of spreading awareness about the labor department’s schemes to ensure maximum benefit for the workers.
