Abhishek Mishra, Dhamtari. A sensational case has come to light from Dhamtari district of Chhattisgarh. The bodies of a mother and daughter were found hanging from a noose in a house here. The incident has created a stir in the area. On receiving information about the case, the police reached the spot and started registering a case. The police have not found any suicide note near the bodies. The reason behind the suicide of the mother and daughter is said to be the death of the brother. About a year ago, the brother of the deceased committed suicide by shooting himself on the temple with a pistol. The family had not even recovered from the shock of this incident that the mother and daughter committed suicide at home. The deceased had also posted two stories on Instagram before committing suicide. This case is from Kotwali police station area.
According to the information received, a mother and daughter committed suicide by hanging themselves in a house in Shiv Chowk of Kotwali police station area. As soon as the information of the incident was received, the police reached the spot and took the bodies in their custody and sent them for post-mortem. The deceased woman Khushboo Sharma is 38 years old and daughter Antara Sharma is 13 years old. It is being told that the deceased was divorced. She was living with her mother in Dhamtari. Khushboo had a brother Akash Mishra alias Sunny Mishra (28 years) who committed suicide by shooting himself on the temple with a pistol in the forest of Kotabharri in September last year 2023 for some reason. Sunny was the only earning member in the house, due to which the family is supported. The whole family was shocked by Sunny’s death.

Meanwhile, between Wednesday and Thursday night, Khushboo Sharma posted two stories on her Instagram account before committing suicide. In the first story, she wrote, ‘Nothing is okay here, in the end only the last rites take place.’ In the second story, she wrote, ‘If you don’t come, how can I call you, if you don’t want to understand, how can I make you understand.’ After posting these two stories, the bodies of the mother and daughter were found hanging from a noose this morning.
After this suicide incident, only the mother of the deceased Khushbu is left in the house. It is being told that the deceased was very depressed due to the death of her brother and due to this she took this step of suicide. At present, the police is investigating this entire case by doing Panchnama action.
