In a landmark decision concerning the Nan scam, the Supreme Court has overturned the anticipatory bail of former IAS officers Anil Tuteja and Alok Shukla. According to the court’s order, the officers will initially be held in ED custody for two weeks, followed by two weeks in judicial custody before potentially being eligible for bail. The court also stated that the accused attempted to influence the ED’s investigation into the Nan scam, which was registered in 2015, during their tenure in key positions.
