In a disturbing case, a principal of Mother Teresa English Medium School in Durg, Chhattisgarh, has been arrested on charges of assaulting a nursery student. The alleged incident unfolded when the student greeted the principal, Ila Even Colvin, with ‘Radhe-Radhe.’ This act reportedly triggered the principal, leading to physical abuse and the application of tape over the child’s mouth. The child’s father, Praveen Yadav, lodged a formal complaint with the police, detailing the incident. The police swiftly responded by arresting the principal and initiating an investigation into the matter. The incident has raised concerns about the treatment of young children in educational institutions.
