The number of coronavirus cases in Chhattisgarh is slowly rising. A recent report from the state’s Corona Control and Demand Center indicates that 12 new individuals have tested positive for COVID-19. Furthermore, 15 patients have successfully recovered and have been released from medical care.
Raipur has the highest number of new cases, with 6 new infections. Bilaspur reported 4 new cases, and Durg district saw 2 new cases. In total, 45 infected patients in the state have recovered from the virus.
Currently, there are 42 active COVID-19 cases in the state. Of these, 35 patients are in home isolation and are not exhibiting any serious symptoms. Six patients are admitted to general wards for treatment. One patient is in critical condition and receiving care in the ICU.
The Health Department of Chhattisgarh has urged people to seek immediate testing if they experience symptoms like a cold, cough, fever, or breathing difficulties. The department stresses that while there’s no need for panic, maintaining vigilance is essential.
