The school education department had altered the existing schedule for school timings on Saturdays for the current academic session. Previously, single-shift schools operated from 7:30 AM on Saturdays. This was changed to 10 AM, similar to Monday to Friday. Since Saturday is declared as a bagless day, yoga, exercises, sports, and other educational activities are conducted. Starting school at 10 AM has caused practical difficulties for children and teachers regarding yoga, exercise, and other activities.
