Chhattisgarh Security Forces Eliminate 10 Naxalites in Gariaband Encounter; High-Value Maoist Commander Among the Dead

In Chhattisgarh, the ‘Naxal Eradication Campaign’ is underway. On Thursday morning, security forces received information about the presence of Naxalites in the forests of the Mainpur police station area in Gariaband district. Responding to the intelligence, a team of E-30, STF, and CRPF Cobra Commandos from the Gariaband police were dispatched. After encircling the Naxalites, the security forces initiated action. The ongoing encounter, which began in the morning, has resulted in the reported deaths of 10 Naxalites. Security forces have also achieved a major success in this encounter. They eliminated Naxal commander Manoj alias Modem Balkrishna alias Bhaskar. Manoj alias Modem Balkrishna was a member of the Central Committee.
