Chhattisgarh authorities are deporting a group of approximately 30 Bangladeshi citizens found to be residing in the state unlawfully. The individuals were detained from several districts, including Raipur, Durg, Rajnandgaon, Raigarh, Mohla-Manpur, and Chirmiri. The Raipur police will transfer them to the BSF, who will then handle the deportation at the Bangladesh border, specifically in Assam. The deportation is planned for today. Those facing ongoing legal proceedings, due to the filing of FIRs against them, will not be deported until their cases are concluded by the courts. Their return to Bangladesh will be determined by the court’s final verdict. The BSF, responsible for border security, has been entrusted with this task by the central government.
