Two children in Narayanpur, Chhattisgarh, are alive today thanks to the quick action and selflessness of two soldiers. Rohit Dugga and Roshan Dugga were admitted to the district hospital suffering from malaria and severe anemia, requiring urgent blood transfusions. Their father, Ramlal Dugga, sought help from a local journalist, who then posted the urgent need on social media. Responding to the call, and under the guidance of 29th Battalion COB Commander Dushyant Raj Jaiswal, soldiers Suvendra Ghosh and Nilesh Kumar sprang into action. They ran a grueling 10 kilometers from COB Nelwad to the district hospital to donate blood to the children. This act of service and compassion was met with immense gratitude from the children’s parents, who praised the soldiers’ dedication. The soldiers, committed to the well-being of the children, offered their best wishes for their recovery.
