Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai has said that the Chhattisgarh government has given top priority to the eradication of child marriage. Our aim is to declare the entire state child marriage free in a phased manner by the year 2028-29. This is not just a government campaign, but a resolve for social change. Chief Minister Shri Sai said that the process of declaring panchayats and urban bodies child marriage free has been expedited in other districts as well. Certificates will be issued soon to those districts where no cases of child marriage have been reported in the last two years.
