Raipur, February 15, 2026/ On the grand concluding occasion of Rajim Kumbh Kalp 2026, held in the holy city of Rajim, Chief Minister Shri Vishnudeo Sai first visited the ancient and historic Rajiv Lochan Temple and performed puja rituals. Bowing at the feet of Lord Shri Rajiv Lochan, he prayed for the happiness, prosperity, good health, and well-being of all the people of the state. He said that this holy pilgrimage is a living symbol of our Sanatan faith, cultural heritage, and social harmony.
Thereafter, Chief Minister Shri Sai offered prayers and obtained the blessings of Lord Bholenath by performing Jalabhishek at the Kuleshwarath Mahadev Temple, located in the middle of the Triveni Sangam. Wishing for the continuous progress, peace, and prosperity of the state, he said that Rajim Kumbh Kalp is not just a religious event, but a grand festival of our spiritual energy, cultural unity, and folk traditions, which works to unite society.
After visiting the temples, Chief Minister Shri Sai participated in the grand Maha Aarti organized on the banks of the Mahanadi river. The atmosphere, illuminated by Vedic chants, conch sounds, and the holy light of lamps, filled the entire Sangam area with a divine aura. With devotion, Chief Minister Shri Sai offered Aarti to Mother Mahanadi and prayed for the progress and prosperity of the state.
In his address, the Chief Minister said that Rajim Kumbh Kalp is a medium to convey our traditions to the new generation and it strengthens social harmony, trust, and unity.
On this occasion, Food and Civil Supplies Minister Shri Dayaldas Baghel, Tourism Minister Shri Rajesh Agarwal, MP Smt. Rupkumari Chaudhary, Rajim MLA Shri Rohit Sahu, Abhanpur MLA Shri Indrakumar Sahu, along with many public representatives, saints, and a large number of devotees were present.
