A key highlight of the event was the release of the Blood-Friend Directory, a project by the district administration and the Indian Red Cross Society. This directory lists 480 voluntary blood donors, enabling patients to easily access blood when required. The directory includes contact details, streamlining the process of obtaining blood transfusions. The initiative underscores the government’s commitment to providing accessible and timely healthcare.
