Raipur. Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai has extended his heartfelt greetings and best wishes to the people of the state on the 77th anniversary of the country’s independence. In his message on the eve of Independence Day, the Chief Minister said that “We have got independence through hard struggle, sacrifice and self-denial. I salute all those anonymous warriors, martyrs and brave soldiers who sacrificed their lives for freedom and who directly or indirectly contributed to the freedom struggle. It is because of them that we are able to breathe in a free environment.”
In his message, the Chief Minister said that it is the responsibility of all of us to make the democratic republic that our forefathers had dreamt of after independence a reality. Highlighting the priorities of the state government, he said that the government is committed to empowerment of the weakest section of the society, strengthening of infrastructure, economic strengthening of villages, access to basic amenities to every person, and preservation and promotion of ancient civilization and culture along with development.
The Chhattisgarh government has taken concrete steps to empower all sections of the state through various schemes and policies. These include schemes like Krishak Unnati Yojana, Mahtari Vandan Yojana, payment of outstanding bonus for paddy, payment of tendu leaves remuneration, Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, effective implementation of New Education Policy 2020, arrangement for purchasing 21 quintals of paddy per acre from farmers at Rs 3100, and Niyad Nellnar Yojana. The Chief Minister said that these public welfare decisions have awakened a new trust in the people towards the administration, which is the responsibility of all of us to strengthen further.
