Rohit Kashyap, Mungeli. Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai attended the Bhakta Mata Karma Mandir Pran Pratishtha ceremony in Farhada village of Mungeli district. On this occasion, Chief Minister Sai, along with public representatives and officials of the society, prayed to Bhakta Mata Karma and wished for the well-being and prosperity of the people of the state. The Chief Minister of the state, Sai, congratulated and wished the Sahu community and all the people present for the Bhakta Mata Karma Pran-Pratishtha. He said that the construction of Bhakta Mata Karma temple in Farhada village was done by all the villagers together without any government support. This shows the collective unity of the villagers.

Our government is continuously working towards development

Chief Minister Sai said that our government is continuously working in the direction of development. We are giving the price of paddy to the farmers of the state at Rs 3100 per quintal. More than 70 lakh women are being benefited under the Mahtari Vandan Yojana. He said that Bilaspur-Mungeli Road to Village Farhada Road, whose total length is five and a half kilometers, has been approved in the budget, its work will be started soon. He said that the state government has given Rs 300 crore for the Katghora-Dongargarh special rail project. Soon the process of land acquisition will be started. Under this project, 38.02 km rail line will pass through Mungeli district, due to which the people of this area will also benefit from the rail service in the coming time.

Government dedicated to development: Deputy CM Sai

Addressing the program, Deputy Chief Minister Arun Sao said that our government is dedicated to development. Today, development works worth more than Rs 25 crore are being inaugurated and foundation stones are being laid for the people of the district. The state government is working well on all dimensions of development including water, electricity, housing.

Devotee Mata Karma is a symbol of service, dedication and sacrifice

It is noteworthy that Bhakta Mata Karma is the goddess of service, sacrifice and dedication. It is said that the revered goddess of Sahu community, Mata Karma, with her devotion, saw Lord Krishna in person and took Balkrishna in her lap and fed him Khichdi with her own hands. Her glorious story has been alive in the minds of people with a sense of devotion and reverence for thousands of years. We learn self-confidence, fearlessness, courage, manliness, equality and nationalism from the life of Mata Karma. She never bowed down to injustice. She accepted every sorrow and happiness of the world and faced them bravely.

CM inaugurated these works

During the program, the Chief Minister inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of 19 development works worth more than 25 crores related to Water Resources Department, Public Works Department, Electricity Department, Rural Mechanical Services Department. Along with this, he announced to give Rs 25 lakh for the community building of Sahu Samaj in village Farhada and Rs 6 lakh each for the community building of tribal and Satnami Samaj. Similarly, he also announced the upgradation of Government High School in village Farhada as Higher Secondary School and road renovation work from village Bhalapur to Achanakpur and from Hariarpur to Tedhadhoura.

He visited village Pa. 33/11 V substation constructed at Khamhariya at a cost of Rs. 1.89 crore, 33/11 KV substation constructed at village Kanteli at a cost of Rs. 1.87 crore and CC lining and renovation of structures in 15 minor canals constructed at a cost of Rs. 19 crore 12 lakh 57 thousand under Agar Diversion Scheme were inaugurated. Similarly, LED street light installation work for 6 km in Navagarh Chowk to Khairwar Bypass Road at a cost of Rs. 1 crore 37 lakh 71 thousand, LED street light installation work in Deori to Kheda Colony at a cost of Rs. 34 lakh 35 thousand, Government High School Phulwari F., Jota, Bhatgaon and Higher Secondary School Khudiya, Baigkapa, Sukli, Devarhat, Manoharpur, Nagar Palika Mungeli, Padampur, Jarhagaon, Silatra, Lauda and Baitalpur at a cost of Rs. 7 lakh 63 thousand each.
