Couple Dies in Durg Road Mishap: Truck Involved

Tragedy struck in Durg, Chhattisgarh, as a newlywed couple lost their lives in a road accident. A speeding truck collided with their scooter, leading to their instant demise. Shivkumar Kurre and his wife Muskan Kurre, married just two months prior, were the victims. They were returning home from a relative’s house in Bhilai when the accident happened near the Khursipar bridge around 11 pm. The impact was so severe that both died on the spot. The police have initiated an investigation after collecting the bodies and sending them for autopsy. The family’s grief turned into outrage, prompting them to block the highway. They demanded the arrest of the truck driver responsible for the accident. Police later managed to calm the situation.
