Nitin Namdev, Raipur. Five CRPF soldiers who were injured after being hit by an IED planted by Naxalites in Bijapur, have been admitted to hospitals in Raipur for better treatment. Of these, four soldiers have been admitted to Narayana Hospital and one to Bajali Hospital. Let us tell you that the security forces deployed on the Naxalite front in Tarrem police station area of Naxalite affected Bijapur were hit by the IED planted by Naxalite on Sunday. The injured were CRPF Assistant Commandant Vidya Sanket Devdas, Inspector Sanjay Kumar and Constable B. Rajendra Dhole along with Pawan Kumar have been brought to Raipur after first aid in the local hospital.
The incident happened on Sunday morning. CRPF soldiers from Chinnagelur CRPF camp were out in the area for area domination. An IED bomb planted by Naxalites was found at a distance of about 350 meters from the camp. A team of security personnel was busy locating and destroying IEDs. Meanwhile, when they were searching for a bomb attached to a wire, it exploded.
