The police are investigating a cyber fraud case in Raipur, Chhattisgarh, where a professor from a government engineering college was digitally arrested and subsequently defrauded. The professor lost 88 lakh rupees within 26 days, coerced by threats of human trafficking and money laundering. The criminals used fear tactics, similar to methods often seen in cybercrimes. The professor has filed a complaint with the police, and the investigation is ongoing.
