Drunk Teacher in Shorts Sparks Controversy at Chhattisgarh School

Manmohan Singh, a teacher at the Rurpur Primary School in the Wadrafnagar block, is accused of frequently coming to school drunk. On Friday, he arrived at the school wearing a saffron-colored ‘Bol Bam’ shorts and a t-shirt. He placed his feet on the books on the table before attempting to teach the children in a slurred voice. The video of the head teacher teaching while intoxicated and resting his feet on the table is now circulating widely on social media. When questioned about his condition, Manmohan Singh stated that he had a leg fracture from an accident and was undergoing treatment. He added that his doctor had advised him to consume 100 to 200 grams of alcohol daily as medicine to help him walk.
