A brutal act of violence has been reported from the Jagargunda police station area in Sukma. Naxalites murdered a Shikshadut in Mandimarka, located in the Silger region. The deceased has been identified as Lakshman Barse, 30, originally from Pegdapalli village in the Bijapur district. He was employed as a Shikshadut in Silger. Sources indicate that the Naxalites attacked Lakshman with a sharp weapon this evening, resulting in his instant death. Family members who tried to intervene during the assault were also subjected to violence. The event has instilled fear throughout the area. The local police have confirmed the incident and stated that further details will be released through official channels. Security forces are currently undertaking search operations in the area. This incident underscores the escalating violent activities of the Naxalites, leading to increased fear among the villagers.
