Education Messenger Killed by Naxals in Sukma

A brutal act of violence has been reported from the Jagargunda police station area in Sukma. Naxalites murdered a Shikshadut in Mandimarka, located in the Silger region. The deceased has been identified as Lakshman Barse, 30, originally from Pegdapalli village in the Bijapur district. He was employed as a Shikshadut in Silger. Sources indicate that the Naxalites attacked Lakshman with a sharp weapon this evening, resulting in his instant death. Family members who tried to intervene during the assault were also subjected to violence. The event has instilled fear throughout the area.
